This Cookie Policy explains how Baby Shop Company Canada (a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on onlinebabyshop.net. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage is a similar space in your browser where a site can keep information. We call both of them "cookies" on this page.
What we use
Needed for the shop to work
These keep your cart and checkout working. They stay in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers, which is why clearing your browser data empties your cart. They do not need your consent.
- obsca_cart: the items in your cart.
- obsca_discount: a discount code you have applied.
- obsca_delivery: whether you picked standard delivery or express shipping.
- A checkout record: when you go to payment, a copy of your cart and the details you entered is kept for a short time, so your order can be confirmed when you come back from Stripe or PayPal. It is removed once your order is confirmed.
- obsca-cookie-consent: whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask you on every page.
When you pay, Stripe or PayPal may set their own cookies on their payment pages, for example to keep the payment secure and prevent fraud.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, and the type of device and browser you use. Google Analytics only loads after you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you decline, it does not load.
Advertising
We do not currently use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this page first, and they will only load if you accept them.
Other services on our pages
- Chat assistant. Our chat assistant is provided by IntellextAI and loads on our pages. It may use its own cookies or local storage to run the chat.
- Fonts. Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
- Forms. Our contact, wholesale quote and review feedback forms load from our own form system at app-marketing-command-centre.vercel.app.
These providers handle data under their own privacy and cookie policies, which you can read on their websites.
Managing your cookie choices
When you first visit the site, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. If you change to Decline, Google Analytics stops loading on the pages you visit after that. Cookies it has already set can be cleared in your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, usually from the privacy or security menu. Blocking the ones the shop needs will stop your cart from working.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
